About the Daily Maze

Each of the five sizes gets one maze per day, and everyone plays the same one. It changes at midnight on your device.

Players who finish without showing the answer are ranked by time. Only your first finish of the day counts; replaying the same maze doesn't change your rank.

Your time runs from your first move until you reach the exit.

Your path is checked again on our server before it's recorded.

Maze rules

Go from the start in the top-left to the exit in the bottom-right.
You can't go through walls. Drag your finger (or mouse) along the path. On a computer, the arrow keys work too.
Drag back over the way you came to go back. If you hit a dead end, back up and try another way.
There is exactly one path from the start to the exit. Reach the exit to finish.

Is it free? Do I need to sign up?

It's free and there's no sign-up. It runs right in your browser.

Will I see the same maze again?

Each maze is made fresh when you start, so you'll almost never see the same one twice.

Can every maze be finished?

Yes. Every maze has exactly one path from the start to the exit. If you're stuck, Show answer draws it (that maze won't count in your stats).

Can I print a maze?

Tap Print to print the maze without any path drawn on it. Great for kids or solving on paper.

What if I close the page?

On the same device and browser, each size continues where you left off.
