日本語EnglishDeutschPolskiFrançaisNederlandsTürkçeItalianoEspañolPortuguêsPick two matching mahjong tiles. If a line with no more than two turns can join them, both disappear. Clear the board to win. Every deal is checked to be clearable.
Every deal is checked to make sure all the tiles can be cleared. Close the page anytime and choose the same board size to continue. Hints, shuffles and undo are unlimited.
If only two of a tile are left and they connect, take them. Removing tiles only opens up more space for other lines.
When all four of a tile are still on the board, which two you pair matters. Check that the other two will still be able to connect later.
Tiles on the edge of the board are easy to take because the line can go around the outside. Look for pairs inside the middle block early; it pays off later.
If you are heading for a dead end, Undo takes you back. When no pair can be connected at all, use Shuffle.
Yes, and there's no sign-up. Play right in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer.
Yes. The game is known as Shisen-Sho in Japan and as Mahjong Connect in English. It is also called Nikakudori, "two-corner taking", because the line can have at most two corners.
Both games remove matching pairs of tiles. In Mahjong Solitaire the tiles are stacked, and a tile is free when nothing is on top and one side is open. In Mahjong Connect the tiles lie flat, and two tiles can be taken when a line can join them.
Yes. Before a deal is used, a program checks that there is an order that removes every tile. Your own choices can still lead to a dead end; if that happens, use Undo or Shuffle.
No. Hints, shuffles and undo are unlimited. The number you used is shown when you clear the board.
On a tall, narrow screen the wide board is turned upright so the tiles can be as large as possible. If they still feel small, start with Easy (6×10).
