Pyramid Solitaire rules

  • 28 cards form a pyramid of 7 rows. The other 24 cards are the stock.
  • Remove two cards whose values add up to 13. Aces count 1, Jacks 11, Queens 12 and Kings 13. A King is removed on its own.
  • You can use pyramid cards that no other card covers, and the top card of the waste pile.
  • Tap the stock to turn cards one at a time onto the waste. When the stock runs out, turn the waste back over (three passes in total).
  • Clear every card in the pyramid to win. Cards left in the stock or waste don't matter.

Tips to win more

Clear low rows first so the cards above open up. When two pairs are possible, take the one that uncovers more cards.

When several cards share a value, don't rush. Check whether one can pair with a card buried deep in the pyramid.

You get only three passes. Before drawing, take every pair you can make inside the pyramid.

Stuck? Use Hint. It searches for a winning line from where you are and highlights the next move.
