Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect data such as pages viewed, how you arrived and the type of device. It does not collect personally identifying information such as your name or email address.
We also count interactions on the page (which kind of button was pressed, the number of the option chosen, whether a game was started or finished, how far you scrolled and how long the page was open). We never send what you type (such as your nickname or feedback) or the contents of the board.

Your game in progress (so you can continue), your stats and the days you played (for stats and streaks), display settings, your nickname and a random ID used for rankings are stored only in your browser. Clearing browser data removes them.
What we send to our server for rankings
When you solve a puzzle, we send the following to our server for the rankings: the random ID (not linked to your name or email), your nickname (if you set one), the country or region shown next to it (if you choose one), the puzzle and your solution, your time, number of mistakes and hints, and the display language. For games against the computer (Hearts, Spades, Reversi, Checkers), we send only the random ID, the game and the date when you start playing (to count “players today”, once a day).
To prevent fake records, we store your IP address only in a non-reversible form (a keyed hash), used only to count submissions.
Nicknames are visible to everyone in the rankings. Please don't use your real name or contact details. To delete your nickname and records, contact us below.
What you send through Feedback & Requests
When you use the Feedback & Requests form, we store your message, its type, your reply email address (if you give one), the page you opened the form from and the display language on our server, and we get an email notification. We use it only to reply and to improve the site, and never publish it.
To prevent spam, we store your IP address only in a non-reversible form (a keyed hash), used only to count submissions.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or share collected information with third parties, except where required by law.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post it on this page.
